In a move to elevate the standard of competition and showcase the depth of talent within our member clubs, the FCCL—in partnership with Simbah Academy—is officially holding selection trials this May. This elite squad will represent the heart of our league in high-stakes matches against other prestigious county league representative sides throughout the 2026 season.
A True "League XI"
This team isn't just about big names; it’s about current form and on-field grit. Selection will be based on a combination of:
- League Performance: Statistics and impact players from the ongoing club season.
- Trial Performance: Direct evaluation of skill, fitness, and temperament during our upcoming trial dates.
Whether you are a prolific run-scorer, a pace specialist, or a sharp-turning spinner, this is your chance to wear the FCCL colors and compete at a higher representative level.
Trial Details
Trials will be held over two sessions to ensure every player gets a fair look from the selection committee.
- Dates: Sunday, 3rd May & Sunday, 10th May 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Venue: Simbah Academy (Indoor/Outdoor Facilities)
- Eligibility: Open to all registered players from FCCL member clubs.
